Quick Start

Get from zero to your first Argus API call in under five minutes.

1Get your API key

  1. Navigate to My Access in the portal.
  2. Click Create Virtual Key and give it a name.
  3. Copy the key immediately — it is only shown once.

2Make your first call

Argus is OpenAI-compatible. Point any OpenAI SDK at the Argus gateway URL and use your virtual key as the API key.

3Choose a provider

Argus routes your request to the best available provider based on the model you specify. You can also set explicit routing preferences per virtual key.
